Pathways to Peace and Mindful Living

At Green Mountain Meditation & Wellness Center, our programs are designed to help you reconnect with stillness, awaken compassion, and cultivate a clear and peaceful mind.

Whether you are just beginning or deepening your practice, each session offers an opportunity to slow down, breathe, and rediscover your inner balance.

Our offerings draw upon the early teachings of the Buddha, combined with a universal respect for all faith traditions and spiritual paths.

WEEKLY MEDITATION & DHAMMA DISCUSSION

❋ WHEN: Sundays and Wednesdays at 6:00 PM

❋ WHO: Open to all and led by the Green Mountain Monk (Bhante Rathana)

❋ WHERE: At Serenity Central of New England (Jacksonville, Vermont)

❋ WHAT TO EXPECT: Each session begins with a guided meditation, followed by a short Dhamma talk and an open Q&A session. Together we explore themes such as mindfulness, compassion, impermanence, and understanding the nature of the mind.

All are welcome — no prior experience is needed.

All classes are offered free of charge, made possible through the generosity of your kind donations.

MINDFULNESS RETREATS

Throughout the year, we host one-day and weekend retreats for deep meditation, mindful walking, and reflection in the quiet environment of the Vermont mountains.

These retreats offer a chance to step away from daily life, reconnect with nature, and cultivate inner calm through noble silence, mindfulness of breathing, and gentle teachings.

Retreats are open to everyone — beginners, experienced meditators, and all those seeking rest and renewal.

WELLNESS & CONTEMPLATIVE PRACTICES

Our center also offers space for complementary practices that support holistic wellbeing, including:

SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE & INTERFAITH DIALOGUE

Bhante Rathana also offers personal spiritual guidance and participates in interfaith gatherings to encourage understanding between traditions.

Through kind listening and shared reflection, we nurture a community of peace — one that celebrates both our differences and our shared humanity.
